V3 Of Zazzle Performance bookmarklet released - much improved

EDIT: May 1st: Entirley replaced by the new NiftyZSort bookmarklet - see this blogpost to get yours

Wow, That was quick, I hear you say!

I've done away with the companion bookmarklet by adding its functionality to the main ZPerformance bookmarklet - much more graceful 😀

It allows you to change what gets highlighted and now makes it easy to save your choices when you move pages.

This is what you'll end up with - or something similar, depending on the choices you make:

On the first click of the ZPerformance bookmarklet you'll be offered the initial default of highlighting the Zazzle 'views' stats (in blue) and the top performers' performance stats (in red):

After you make your choices and click ok, you'll see a list of all the products that have orders on the page you're looking at. It's sorted to show best-to-worst performance. The performance is worked out by dividing the number given for Views by the number of Orders (all time).

Get your bookmarklet here

Get yours by dragging the following link to your brower's toolbar: ZPerformance, making sure you delete any earlier versions first (right click and choose 'delete').

To use it,
  • First get to your store's back end
  • Sort the page using the sort option: Orders (All time)
  • Click the bookmarklet and accept the default configuration
See how the Last viewed date jumps out at you? So much easier to scan now.
Check your  top performers, the ones highlighted in red. If you've had lots of orders on any of them, then those will be quite reliable figures you can work with.

Let's say you now want to give it a go for real.
  • Again, get to your store's back end
  • Navigate to a category or a department or do a search - up to you
  • Set the page size to 96
  • Click the bookmarklet and choose to highlight the top 20 best performers and the Orders (All time)
  • Do this by typing "20 ordersalltime" (no quotes) and clicking OK
Now you can scan through, easily seeing just what you want to see, with the other stats available to look at if needed while you're doing it.

If you want to move to the next page, click the bookmarklet again so you can copy the last choices you made. This is because when the page changes (or you refresh the existing page) the bookmarklet loses its memory. Now all you need do is click the bookmarklet and paste what you just copied, if that's what you want to do 😀

Enjoy! 🤩
