New feature for Nifty's individual product tweeter

Today I added a new feature to the Nifty tool for tweeting out individual products. When you first open it you see a dialog box that lets you tweet a link to the Zazzle coupon page.

This is so you can do a mini-marketing campaign on Twitter with money off coupons as an added enticement.

Here's what it looks like:

Try it out yourself - click / tap this link

If you want to do some product tweets first, that's cool. Close the dialog box straight away, do your product tweeting and then refresh the page to get the choice again.

Enjoy and good luck with your promoting!

PS I'll be adding this feature to the other individual product sharers later.

Video Introduction to the Nifty Promo Control Panel and tools

Watch this YouTube video introducing the Nifty Promo Control panel and its promotional tools

Try Nifty for yourself

Next release imminent: Nifty lets you style your scrollers

As promised in the Zazzle forum, I've been working on a further tweak to Nifty, one which brings product display styling to the horizontal and vertical scrollers.

It's in beta test right now and all is going well :)

With the embed-code scrollers and product grids now all sharing the same styling, I've brought out the place where you set the styling to its own panel. It appears above the area that displays the products you're currently working with...

..but only when you're using one of the embed-code grid or scroller promotion methods, as that's the only time it applies. For other promotion methods, you won't see it.

This just leaves the embed-code slideshows to be brought into line.

Silver Sportscar Logo: Car Showroom Branded Display Materials

I've been working on a tweak to the Nifty Promo Control Panel to allow styling of product grids. You can set the border colour, the text background colour and the colour of the text itself.

Here's a collection of mine aimed at car showrooms and their display material. It features a sports car logo with a metallic silver / polished chrome effect design with elements specifically created to look a tiny bit like engine parts. Do you see pistons in there?

Lightning bolt metallic style, car showroom branded design

Here's a design that's been quite successful for car showrooms. It gives a fairly complete set of branded display material and marketing give-aways. If you've got an auto sales business, how does this suit?

Zazzlers on Pinterest - until Z's short links work...

I've been watching various threads on the Zazzle forum where the new Zazzle share, shortened links are being discussed.

Generally, it seems that no-one should be concerned. Independent checking has been carried out by other storekeepers and, yes, those shortened links do contain your rf id.

The only problem appears to be with Zazzle's new short links and pinning to Pinterest. Until it's cleared up / resolved, if you want to be sure your rf id is being included when you pin, use Nifty's individual product pinning tool.

This is what it looks like in use:

Set it up for your store and rf id like this:!

This is where you choose that you want to do pinning of individual products:!&mcslsh=indvprod

Open the set-up screen at the right spot by clicking this link

You'll be able to see your ref id being used at all stages and it'll be there on your pins when you look at them on Pinterest.

Enjoy transparency :)
