New Boutiques - Zazzlers can get one soon on the Karmani Designer Lifestyle website!

I've been hard at work in the coding saltmines, working on creating tools to support a new Boutiques section for the Karmani Deisgner Lifestyle website.

I've used a mashup of different online and offline apps to make it about an hour's job to create a boutique of up to 100 pages of 30 products per page, all achieving awesome status on Google's mobile-friendly page tester. Which is nice :)

I'll be opening this up to fellow Zazzlers soon, so if that's you, you'll be able to get your own boutique! Drop off a reply in the comments section if you're interested and mention the store id you'll want the products to come from. I'll get in touch with more details when I'm ready.

Here's what one of them looks like with the menu dropped down, so you can see the list of departments in the Hockey section of the Winter Sports Boutique:

To create one, each Boutique needs:

• a list of topics/styles the boutique is to cover (these are the search terms that will be used to "pull" products from Zazzle. These are the ones that go in a grid on each page
• a list of the departments the boutique is to have (ie the types of products being sold in the boutique)
• a name for the boutique

In the screenshot above, you can see the list of departments for the boutique includes Drinkware, Watches, Kitchen Gifts and so on.
You can also see that this is the Hockey section and the partly obscured text tells you you're looking at the Winter Sports Boutique.

The only thing I have left to do is to add a new menu item to the 'homepage' of each section. The Hockey homepage is here: www.kdl.to/boutiques/winter-sports/winter-sports-hockey.html and the new menu item should go to the left of the one labelled "Hockey".
