Zazzle Storekeepers: More Power to your Promotional Elbow

I've recently been experimenting with two services to help me with my promotional efforts. One of them was featured on the BBC's Click tech show, IFTTT - If This Then That and the other is one I bumped into, Yahoo! Pipes.

IFTTT let's you build what they call recipes, that can be triggered by THIS and that goes on to do THAT.

The THIS part can be things like someone tagging you on Facebook, a change of status or you posting a link. And it's not limited to to just FB. It can be when an RSS Feed delivers a new item, when a new blog post matches a simple keyword and many, many other services on top.
The THAT part can be to make a new post on your blog, email a single recipient, tweet, post something to Facebook and, again, many many more. www.ifttt.com

I'll tell you about Yahoo! Pipes another time. If you're keen, have a look at pipes.yahoo.com yourself.

I guarantee that with a bit of practice, you'll be using these tools individually and maybe in conjunction with each other to give yourself / your brand / store a big promotions boost!

Desiderata - The Antennae Galaxies Print

A gorgeous best-selling design from HightonRidley. Click to personalize. How would it look with your name or monogram?

Zazzle.com Logo

Inspirational Guidance series The full Desiderata by Max Ehrmann: Go placidly amidst the noise and haste... featuring two merging galaxies, known as the Antennae Galaxies - NGC4038 and NGC4039. As these galaxies hurtle through each other, billions of new stars are forced to precipitate out of the gas and dust clouds by the bunching and heating that's caused by the massive gravitic interactions.

The poem has inspired young adults who are coming of age since the 1920's and is as popular today as it ever was. It's been given as a gift by loving parents, grandparents, godparents and aunts and uncles as essential life-wisdom ever since it was written.

They've found it to be one of the few ways for such wisdom to get past those raging hormones, giving support to the upcoming generation through their rebellious years and beyond...

Monogram Tarantula Nebula Ties

A gorgeous best-selling design from HightonRidley. Click to personalize. How would it look with your name or monogram?

Zazzle.com Logo

Galaxies, Stars and Nebulae series An awesome mobile phone shell featuring the Tarantula Nebula of the Large Magellanic Cloud, which is the nearest galaxy to the Milky Way, our galactic home. This Hubble image shows old stars from the distant past and rich, interstellar gas clouds feeding the formation of new ones. The most massive and hottest stars are intense, high-energy radiation sources and this pushes away what remains of the gas and dust, compressing and sculpting it. As the whorls and eddies clump and stretch it, gravity takes over and the birth of the next generation of new stars is triggered.
